Have you ever wanted to make your own comic, manga or graphic novel? Today's Camp-in-Place #AtHomeArt project will teach you the basics of laying out your illustrations sequentially, in a way that best serves the story you want to tell. Camp Contemporary instructor Angel Little will introduce the common concepts and go through the initial steps to develop and design a comic layout. Whether you are just curious or want to dive deep, this video will get your feet wet and inspire you to go to the next level!

Materials


Angel Little is a hip-hop teacher, motivational speaker, LEGO® robotics engineer, full track programmer, youth pastor and more. Angel started his passion of growing the community in Lawton, at the young age of 14, co-facilitating Art in the Park, a yearly outdoor art presentation and interactive learning engagement. Since then, he has gone on to create and support numerous endeavors. One of his key programs is ONESoul, a series of event initiatives to raise the awareness of equal opportunities for the arts among youth. Angel is also a teaching artist at Oklahoma Contemporary, where he has inspired the next generation for over seven years and co-curated the art exhibition, Not For Sale. He plans to continue activating community-based organizations, programs and events all over the United States.
