Chase Kaiser is the manager of public programs and performance at Oklahoma Contemporary, where he is committed to engaging audiences through innovative programming and collaborative performances. He leads partnership negotiations with various organizations to launch new initiatives and has overseen Oklahoma Contemporary’s community arts programming at annual events such as Juneteenth on the East, Fiesta de las Américas and OK Pride Alliance’s PrideFest.
Chase earned a master’s degree in art education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2019 and a bachelor’s degree in art and design from Columbia College Chicago in 2014. Before joining Oklahoma Contemporary, he worked as the curatorial assistant to the director of exhibitions at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, collaborating closely with artists and curators to produce large-scale international exhibitions, performances and public programs.
While living in Chicago, Chase was also an active volunteer programmer at the Center on Halsted — Chicago’s largest LGBTQ+ community center — where he facilitated arts programs for LGBTQ+ senior citizens.
A painter, fashion aficionado and jacket collector, Chase is happy to be living back in his home state of Oklahoma and hopes to play a key role in helping Oklahoma City grow as a thriving hub for artists.
